Do or Do Not.

Glad to be back, folks. Very, very glad.

For those of you who might not have known why I was gone: my father has been in the hospital with pneumonia since a week ago Sunday, and in the ICU since a week ago yesterday. I went down to Florida to see him and encourage him to get better as well as to provide my stepmom some much-needed moral and emotional support. It looks like my father’s on the long, slow road to recovery , so I’m back home in the bosom of my family again and regular blog posting will, thankfully, resume. (Well, “thankfully” for me because I’ve missed doing it…not so sure if it’s “thankfully” for any of you or not.)

During my trip, I got to see several friends of this blog whom I haven’t gotten to see for a couple of years or more, including Tim, Sandy, Amy and Zac, as well as the websiteless (though desperately in need of one) Rommel. Getting to see my friends helped make the more emotional parts of the trip much easier to get through, so my thanks go out to all’a y’all.

I’ll likely have more to say about a number of topics that occurred to me during the trip, but for now I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m back and you’ll be getting your Do or Do Not fix on a regular basis once more!
