Do or Do Not.

I’ve been toying with the idea of putting together a children’s book, and one idea I’ve been kicking around is fictionalizing the story of Laurel’s Alex, maybe telling his side of what happened while he was “away.” I have no idea for sure what I’m doing with it just yet or if I even will, but it’s an idea I’m toying with. And I know I have an awful lot of practice to do before I can seriously get to work on it if I choose to do so (though, man, we’ve got a couple of children’s books where the illustrations are just horrendous, so that gives me hope!). Anyways, to that end I thought I’d try to start thinking about how I might Alex to look — this is just the first shot and I’m sure it’s not how he’ll end up.
