Yup, that is indeed an instance of the Wilhelm Scream. Might even have been the one she was referring to!

And I almost guarantee you that since Burtt did the effects for the radio drama, the scream was in there somewhere. :)

OK- First, I know that name, Ben Burtt. He did the sound effects for the NPR Star Wars radio drama. I could rattle off a whole lot more of the crew for that production because I inevitably listened to all the credits almost every time.
Second- I think I know of at least one Wilhelm Scream - maybe even the one Laurel's talking about: when the storm trooper falls off into the abyss on the death star in IV?
Third- I hope she lets me be an artistic director after the revolution comes. I'm tired of sitting in this office and could use some more colorful work.
