Right on, sir.

The apprehension that I used to think was just writer's block, plain and simple, is probably just fear of the consequences of putting something out there. You (and Terry) have yours narrowed down to fear of success or failure. Near as I can tell, mine is more like a fear of having to come up with the Next Good Idea. What if I come up with a great idea that turns into a great comic book or novel or screenplay or whatever. Then what? Then I gotta come up with something else.

While our obstacles have different specifics, the key to overcoming them is the exact same: write something, all the time. Get our bad ones out of the way--we'll have more time and space for the good ones that come later.
